60 Ft Flat Cars-AMTRAK

Description

AMTRAK required several groups of 60’, 100 ton flat cars for use to haul scrap rail, concrete ties and track work materials during the reconstruction of Union Station Yard – Chicago, IL. The AMTRAK program required 60’ Flat cars with steel decks and equipped with tie down devices for the demanding shuttle work and to insure safe operation in the 24 hour flow of passengers arriving and departing on AMTRAK and METRA Passenger trains. Having the right tools as part of their long term AMTRAK planning process was critical to the success of the AMTRAK Union Station Yard project.
